This 1956 Chevrolet 3100 pickup was refurbished and modified, with work including installing a 454ci V8, a three-speed automatic transmission, and a Ford 9″ rear axle as well as refinishing the truck in metallic gray and re-trimming the cab in red vinyl upholstery. The truck is equipped with a modified roll pan, 15″ Race Star alloy wheels, adjustable rear coilover suspension, power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes, a cab visor, a wood bed floor, a Holley carburetor, an Edelbrock intake manifold and cylinder heads, long-tube headers, a fuel cell, and an aluminum radiator with an electric fan. Cabin appointments include air conditioning, Dolphin instrumentation, a B&M shifter, and a retro-style digital radio. The pickup bed features a wood bed floor with polished metal runners and an integrated fuel-filler cap.The leather-wrapped steering wheel is mounted on a tilting steering column and frames a column-mounted AutoMeter tachometer that is flanked by a Dolphin 140-mph speedometer and a combination gauge for fuel level, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and voltage. The six-digit mechanical odometer shows 1k miles, total chassis mileage is unknown.
