Description
This 1975 Porsche 911S Targa was subsequently underwent a refurbishment by JTS Motorsports in Hickory, North Carolina. The 2.7-liter flat-six and the Type 915 five-speed manual transaxle were rebuilt, and the brake and suspension systems were overhauled. The car is finished in Gazelle Metallic over tan and black leather upholstery, and equipment includes 15″ Fuchs alloy wheels, Bilstein shocks, PerTronix ignition, aluminum valve covers, a black removable roof panel, a black Targa bar, fog lights, body-color bumpers, a front spoiler, high-back front bucket seats, a Pioneer CD stereo, Coco Mats, and a heated rear window.
The car was reportedly refinished in Gazelle Metallic. Exterior features include a black removable roof panel, a black Targa bar, body-color headlight trim rings, fog lights, and body-color impact bumpers. The windshield wiper system was overhauled and the taillights were refreshed during the refurbishment. The leather-covered three-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of VDO instrumentation consisting of a 150-mph speedometer, a centrally mounted 8k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for fuel level, oil level, oil temperature, and oil pressure. The five-digit odometer is said to have rolled over and shows 3,400 miles. The 2.7-liter flat-six features Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection and was rebuilt in October 2020 by JTS Motorsports in Hickory, North Carolina. Work included fly-cutting and machining the cylinder heads, resealing the camshaft housings, a valve job, and a rebuild of the fuel distributor. A PerTronix ignition system, later Carrera-spec tensioners, and a pop-off valve were installed, and the oil tank was cleaned and powder coated. The engine was also fitted with a replacement fuel pump, wiring harness, battery, fuel injectors, exhaust valve guides, valve seats, valve spring keepers, stem seals, piston rings, aluminum valve covers, seals, and engine mounts. The engine bay was repainted and a replacement hood pad was also fitted at that time.
